Overview
The Comments Inbox section helps you stay on top of social media comments and messages by organizing them in one place. From here, you can reply, assign messages to teammates, leave internal notes, and mark conversations complete. Think of it as a virtual task list for managing your social community.

How to access the comments inbox
- In the left-hand menu, navigate to the Activity Feed section.
- Select ‘Comments Inbox’.
How to use filters
In the comments inbox, you can filter your view by:
- Social account: Choose which account’s messages to display.
- Type of engagement: Filter by comment or direct message.
- Time of engagement: View messages from a specific timeframe.
You can also view engagement based on assignment status by selecting:
- All Messages
- Assigned to Me
- Unassigned
How to manage comments and messages
When viewing a comment or direct message, you have several options:
- Delete a comment: Click the 'trash' icon.
- Hide a comment: Click the 'eye' icon.
- Reply to a comment: Click the 'arrow' icon.
- Assign a comment to another user: Click the 'pin' icon.
- Leave an internal comment: Click the 'conversation bubble' icon.
- Mark as complete: Click the 'checkmark' icon.
How to assign a comment to a user
To assign a comment or message to another user:
- Click the 'pin' icon.
- Select the checkmark next to the user's name.
The assigned user is now responsible for replying to that comment or direct message.
How to leave an internal comment
To collaborate with your team:
- Click the 'conversation bubble' icon.
- Leave a comment for others in your workspace to see and discuss internally.
How to reply to a comment
To reply to a comment or direct message:
- Click the arrow icon.
- Type your reply.
- Click the 'paper airplane' button to publish your response.
The reply will appear under the original comment.
