AgencyBloc currently provides content and support for the following social media platforms:
In addition to these supported platforms, you can connect Threads, YouTube, Google Business Profile, TikTok, and Pinterest accounts through the Engage+ Content Marketing application. However, AgencyBloc does not currently provide content or support resources for these platforms.
Before you begin
Before connecting your social accounts, you'll need to set up profiles on the platforms you plan to use:
- Facebook: A Facebook Business Page. You may also link your personal Facebook account, but you will not be able to post to your personal feed from within the Engage+ Content Marketing social media library.
- Instagram: An Instagram Business Profile connected to your Facebook Business Page.
- LinkedIn: A personal or LinkedIn account or a LinkedIn organization page.
If you're creating new accounts, keep in mind:
- Some platforms may limit posting or creating business profiles immediately after sign-up.
- The Engage+ Content Marketing app connects directly to your social media accounts, allowing you to manage posts from one place. However, you retain full control over your accounts.
- Complete your profiles with photos, bios, and other key information.
- Use a real business email and verify your account in Meta Business Manager.
- Avoid using test accounts that don't reflect real behavior.
Each social media platform has its own rules. Be sure to read their Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines to:
- Understand what types of content are allowed and what could be removed.
- Avoid account suspensions or bans.
- Protect your personal information and data.
Following these best practices will help you keep your accounts secure and ensure your posts meet platform standards.
How to link your social media accounts (initial setup)
- Log into your AMS+ account.
- Select the Your Apps menu icon in the AMS+ site header and choose ‘Engage+’ from the dropdown menu.
- Engage+ Content Marketing will open in a new tab, so you won’t lose your place in AMS+. Switch to this tab.
- In Engage+ Content Marketing, select the ‘thumbs up’ icon to access the site's social media management features.
- The first time you access these features, you'll see a pop-up called Link Your Social Accounts. This pop-up lists the social media platforms you can connect to Engage+ Content Marketing.
- This pop-up appears each time you enter the social media section until you've linked at least one social account. After you've linked your first account, the popup stops appearing. If you want to link more accounts later, follow these steps.
- Select a supported social media platform to begin linking your account.
- When you select a platform, its login page will open in a new tab. For this example, we’ll use Facebook.
- To post on Facebook, you need a Facebook Business Page. If you don't have one yet, learn how to create a Facebook Business Page.
- Enter your Facebook account’s username and password and log in.
- After logging in, you'll see a message asking you to allow Cloud Campaign to access your social account. To link your account, select ‘Continue as [name]’ to give permission and progress to the Link Accounts page.
- On the Link Accounts page, select the account you want to connect. For Facebook, be sure to select your Business Page, not your personal Facebook profile.
- Select the ‘Link Account’ button.
- After linking your account, you'll return to the Link Your Social Accounts popup in Engage+ Content Marketing. You'll see the newly linked account listed, along with a success message.
- Now that you've successfully linked a social account, you can repeat these steps to link another account, or you can start posting.
How to link your social media accounts (after linking at least one account)
- In Engage+ Content Marketing, select the “thumbs up” icon to open the social media management features.
- On the social media dashboard, select ‘Link Your Accounts’ in the Getting Started section.
- In the Linked Accounts section, select ‘Add New’ to see a list of available social media platforms.
- From the list, choose the social media platform you want to link to Engage+ Content Marketing.
- A new tab with the platform’s login page. Enter your social account’s username and password to log in, then follow steps 9-13 as outlined in this section.
- Repeat to add more social accounts.
