Overview

Blogs are long-form articles meant for publishing on your blog platform. Each post includes any relevant images and file attachments that you can download and use alongside the blog.

You can find blog posts on the homepage in the Featured Collections or New Featured Content sections.

You can locate newsletters in the following areas:

• Homepage
  • Monthly Highlights
    

• Left navigation menu

  • Collections
  • Content Type
  • Topics

  

Preview a blog in Engage+ Content Marketing

The blog view in Engage+ Content Marketing is a preview, not an editor. You won’t be able to make changes to the blog in this view.

To edit the blog, copy and paste it into your blog platform’s editor.

Access additional details

• Select the Help tab to view additional information about the blog.
  
• Check the summary panel on the right for audience details and other key data.
  

Copy a blog for publication

Follow these steps to copy a blog post to publish on your blog platform and social media channels.

1. Select a blog post

Select a blog post from one of the following:

• Engage+ Home
• Collections
• Content Type: Blog Post
• Topic areas (for example: "Medicare", "Group Business", "Everyday Living")

2. Copy the content

To copy the full blog with formatting, styling, and images:

• Select the top left corner of the blog content block.
• Drag to highlight all text and images.
• Right-click and select "Copy".

To copy text only (no images or formatting), select the Copy Text to Clipboard button.

To download text and images separately:

• Select the Download to Clipboard button.
• This downloads a .zip file containing:
  • A plain text file (.txt)
  • Image files

3. Paste or upload the content and images into your blog platform

• Go to your blog platform.
• Paste or upload the content into the content editor.
• Make any necessary adjustments.

4. Review the post

• Review the content in your blog platform’s content editor.
• Check for formatting issues or copy/paste errors.

5. (Optional) Promote your post

• Add links to the blog post in email newsletters or on your social media platforms.
• Use the provided teaser blurb if needed.

Cross-post blogs on all your social media channels

The Engage+ Content Marketing Social Media tool allows you to share blog content across your social media channels.

If you have your own blog, you can connect its RSS feed using the "auto-import" feature. This feature automatically posts your blog content to your connected channels.

You can also manually share blog posts on your social media platforms.
